Join us as a Change Planning Manager
- Joining us in Performance & Business Management, we’ll look to you to define and lead resourcing and capability activities for business areas
- You’ll be providing specialist knowledge to make sure that the right resourcing levels are in place and capability requirements are met to deliver business requirements
- This is an opportunity to raise your career profile with the work you do, building collaborative relationships with a range of key stakeholders
- We're offering this role for a period of 12 months
- You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend up to two weeks for training and then two days every month working from our office in Manchester, Liverpool or St Helens
What you'll do
As a Change Planning Manager, you’ll be building and maintaining strong, trusted partnerships to understand and support the resourcing and capability needs of the business. You’ll be engaging with the business to determine a strategic workforce plan, as well as working with the business area to define and deliver capability plans which are in line with future operating models.
You’ll also be:
- Gathering and using robust capability MI, providing options and recommendations to support the business and change strategy
- Collating, assessing impact and prioritising the inclusion of change initiatives into the supply and demand plans
- Embedding the outputs of the people plan locally and supporting people leaders by providing advice and guidance
- Identifying skills and knowledge gaps based on the business and change strategy and providing solutions
- Supporting the implementation of a technical learning framework across the business area
- Designing, delivering and leading the business unit’s communications and engagement plan, owning key communications channels
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with excellent experience of working in a leadership support or business management role within a call centre environment. You’ll need broad knowledge of the customer business, key services and how it interacts with the rest of the organisation.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- A proven background in a resource planning role with the ability to calculate future resource requirements using supply vs demand plans
- An ability to support change processes by completing impact assessments to size the resource requirement
- Experience of working with multiple business initiatives
- Proficiency in Excel, together with strong analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to use information to develop creative value add solutions
- Experience of leading and delivering results through a team
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills preferably gained within a resource planning environment
