What skills and experience we're looking for

HISP Multi Academy Trust is inviting applications for the role of Headteacher at Crofton School. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and forward-thinking professional who is an innovative, resilient, and inspirational leader, with a strong commitment to excellence and high aspirations for every pupil.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a natural ability to nurture and empower staff, harnessing the collective strengths of the school community. They will possess an unwavering determination to secure the very best outcomes and sustained progress for all pupils, regardless of background or starting point, ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The Headteacher will play a key role in advancing the vision and values of HISP Multi Academy Trust and Crofton School, fostering a culture of high expectations, inclusion, and opportunity. They will lead the continued development of a rich, broad, and ambitious curriculum, underpinned by strong pastoral care and a relentless focus on teaching and learning.

As a HISP Headteacher, you will:

• Provide outstanding and inspirational leadership and management of the school, further developing our first class, student-centred environment that empowers all learners to realise their potential today, tomorrow and in the future.
• Promote the vision and values of HISP Multi Academy Trust and Crofton School.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young people within the school by ensuring that the school’s policies and procedures relating to safeguarding children and child protection are fully implemented and followed.


We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of successful school improvement, who actively embraces collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with Trust leaders, the Local Academy Committee, staff, students, and families to further develop Crofton School as a thriving, high-performing, and inspiring place to learn and work.
