We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Facilities Host to help manage facilities operations efficiently at Nationwide. In this role, you will work closely with the facilities team, serving as the public face of Nationwide, providing support to colleagues, contractors, and visitors at our London offices
You will engage with individuals across all levels of the organisation, influencing behaviours to enhance the workplace experience for employees. This position is key in ensuring a welcoming, professional, and seamless environment for everyone entering Nationwide office. Through exceptional customer service and workplace support, you will help create a space where guests and colleagues feel valued and well-supported
As an Assistant Facilities Host, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero helping to keep Nationwide London offices run like clockwork. Whether it’s coordinating daily operations, keeping health and safety standards are ticked off with precision, or solving unexpected challenges, you’ll be right in the thick of it. But most importantly, you’ll be championing the customer experience making sure every interaction, every space, and every solution leaves people feeling supported and valued. You’ll bring energy, organisation, and a people-first mindset to everything you do, helping create environments that don’t just work well, but feel great too.
Job Description
- Supports the delivery of FM support services
- Improves the delivery of FM support services
- Recommends actions for improvements to delivery of FM support services
- Complies with relevant legislation. Manages Nationwide’s Facilities operations to meet legal, statutory and regulatory requirements for accessibility and disability through both an insourced function and subcontracted supply chain.
- Supports FM related governance, structures and processes that are in line with Nationwide’s overall governance requirements.
- To manage performance to ensure that customer satisfaction is a key measure of success. This will be achieved through a mixture of technical Facilities competence and behavioural competence
Qualifications
- Work towards a relevant business qualification (e.g. BIFM).
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate at all levels when influencing, negotiating, members, employees, suppliers (e.g. key partners).
- Be recognised as an expert in Facilities Management to drive continuous improvement into service delivery.
- Promote a culture where PRIDE is paramount.
