Your new company
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, repair and safe operation of plant and equipment at a site in Kings Lynn. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you'll carry out electrical maintenance, inspections and fault-finding to ensure all equipment remains compliant, reliable and efficient.
Your new role
On joining the team, you will carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive maintenance where required,
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on port equipment such as cranes, forklifts, loaders and conveyors.
- Complete checks before starting work, follow procedures and keep equipment compliant.
- Help with electrical installations and estate-wide electrical works.
- Find faults and safely get equipment back up and running.
- Work safely at all times and take part in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
- Work closely with the Engineering team, contractors and operational staff.
What you'll need to succeed
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Time‑served electrician.
- Experience working on industrial or heavy‑plant equipment.
- 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Confident using basic IT (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good fault‑finding skills and a methodical approach.
