Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our customer team in Oxford, providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting the team, ensuring that our service users receive the best possible care and support. This is a full-time position, working a shift rotation that includes early and late shifts, so flexibility and adaptability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include providing emotional and practical support to service users, leading and supporting a team of support workers, and contributing to the development and implementation of care plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, reporting any concerns or issues, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience working in the health and social care sectors, either with adults or children and young people. You will be a strong leader and team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of safeguarding and protection procedures is essential, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
