Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – The Opportunity
• Full-time, long-term Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role starting ASAP
• Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week (term-time only)
• Earn £500–£560 per week as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
• Applicants with a 2:1 degree or above encouraged to apply
• Education, Psychology, and core subject graduates particularly welcomed
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support across Key Stages
• Excellent preparation for teacher training or related education careers

Your Role
In this position, the Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to ensure all pupils can access learning confidently. You will assist with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and targeted interventions for children who require additional guidance.
The Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will also provide structured one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils strengthen core skills while building self-belief and independence. Along the way, you will gain valuable experience in behaviour management, differentiation, and effective communication strategies.
Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and support staff, the Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will develop a well-rounded understanding of primary education — an invaluable foundation for future teacher training or related professions.
