Do you get fulfillment from working with young people and have an ability to connect with them so you can provide mentoring,
guidance and life skills to a diverse range of young people, helping them achieve their true potential against all odds? Our Youth
mentors are special, they deliver workshops in schools and the community, they engage the hardest to reach young people using
their excellent motivational skills. If this sounds like you, and you have experience of this type of work in a paid, voluntary or
personal capacity, we are looking for the right people to join our team of Targeted Youth Mentors.
Each young person is different, so you will be creative, putting the interventions in place that are needed, liaising with other
professionals and recording everything you do.
The salary is £25,000 - 27,000 pa for a full time role depending on experience, with the potential for career progression. A car
is necessary as you will be supporting and mentoring young people across Nottinghamshire.

The role is full time and you would need businesses insurance on your car and a willingness to transport young people. You would
be based in Nottingham City or Mansfield depending on where you live, and would be required to travel between sites.
If you have personal experience of the issues faced by our young people or are experienced in youth work then we’d love to hear
from you but it is not essential.
