About the Role
As Deputy Headteacher – Quality of Education (KS1–5), you will play a central role in driving the strategic and operational leadership of our curriculum and teaching provision across both the Trent Acres and Brookfield sites. Working closely with the Headteacher and Key Stage Leads, you will ensure that every pupil has access to a high‑quality, inclusive and aspirational curriculum that meets their individual needs. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will champion excellence in teaching, uphold the school’s values and ethos, and contribute to a culture where all learners—many of whom are autistic and may have additional needs such as ADHD, attachment difficulties or trauma‑related presentations—are supported to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership with the Headteacher to ensure the school is effectively led and meets its aims.
Support and refine organisational structures so systems and processes run efficiently and meet statutory requirements.
Assist the Headteacher with day‑to‑day management and organisation across both sites.
Work with the Headteacher and SLT to lead the multi‑disciplinary team, strengthening shared understanding of curriculum and practice.
Contribute to evidence‑based improvement planning to drive school development and enhance learning.
Implement and uphold policies that promote excellence, achievement and high‑quality, needs‑led provision.
Build strong, proactive communication with stakeholders and external agencies to support positive engagement.
Provide accurate information and professional advice to the Headteacher and Regional Director in line with governance expectations.
Lead the development, adaptation and quality assurance of the curriculum across all key stages.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in a relevant field
Evidence of continuing professional development relating to school leadership and management, and curriculum/teaching and learning
At least 5 years successful teaching experience
Experience of driving whole school initiatives with proven successful outcomes
