We are seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the safe, compliant and competent delivery of facilities services across multiple sites.
The role is primarily based in York and will require regular travel to York Riccall, Selby Depot, York Rose Centre and Barmby on the Marsh as part of the wider contract operations.
Job Description
We are looking for someone who can confidently oversee on-site Placemakers, work collaboratively with the Regional Facilities Manager, and ensure an excellent workplace experience for customers.
This role combines hands-on operational duties with essential compliance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee delivery of cleaning and security services across designated sites.
Support maintenance-related activities to ensure operational continuity.
Oversee onsite facility staff (Placemakers).
Manage subcontractors operating within the regional area.
Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met.
Conduct health & safety and compliance audits.
Manage and update the CAFM system (TRIRIGA) as the single version of record.
Progress work orders and provide regular updates and reports to the client.
Organise and attend site and client meetings as required.
Maintain strong communication and collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage compliance and statutory maintenance processes.
Experience using CAFM systems (TRIRIGA desirable but training can be provided).
Full UK driving licence for regional travel.
Training & Development
In-house training will be provided, including:
Environmental systems.
Compliance and statutory maintenance.
CAFM system training (TRIRIGA).
