Landscape Maintenance Operative
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gardener/Maintenance Operative to join our well-respected award-winning company on a temp-to-perm basis. Willerby Landscapes have been responsible for numerous very high-profile projects across the country for many years and are currently expanding their maintenance arm, leading to an increasing number of high-profile contracts. Willerby Landscapes are now seeking a horticulturally experienced Landscape Maintenance Gardener to assist with works across London and the Southeast, ideally living in Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells area. In addition to a competitive salary, the client will generously pay for the travel expenses of the successful candidate or Transport is provided with the team.
Working Hours: 7:30 – 16:00 Monday to Friday (40hrs per week). on site
Rate of pay: £13.85.
Main Responsibilities:
We are seeking an individual who is hard-working, knowledgeable, punctual and willing to learn. Candidates will have the ability to work as part of a team or individually under their own initiative.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Maintenance Gardening
• Lawn Maintenance
• Pruning
• Weeding
• Watering
• Planting
• Mulching
• Ad- hoc planting as required.
• An understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
Key Skills:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, having the ability to work under their own initiative while taking pride in their work and completing tasks to a high standard throughout all tasks on the large site. An understanding of Health and Safety regulations is essential. A PA1/PA6 spraying certificate & drivers licence would be desirable, however not essential. Ideally a skilled gardener with experience (3 years +) looking for a new challenge.
