P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a QC Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintaining a constant clean glassware supply.
• Purchasing of laboratory consumables.
• Disposal of laboratory samples.
• Administration tasks for the support of QC.
• Be trained, and adhere to all procedures associated with Quality, GMP, and hygiene within the role.
• Maintain a safe working environment by working safely.
• Be trained and qualified in all relevant Health and Safety Procedures, report accidents and take part in investigations.
• Documents to be read/read verified on a timely basis.
• To bring to the attention of his/her line manager any difficulties or problems encountered in the performance of his/her duties.
• Perform any additional tasks as required by the QC Manager.

Person Specification:
• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively at all levels
• Proficient in computer packages, including MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work equally well on own initiative or within small, dynamic teams.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C (9-4) including Maths & English.
• Preferably, experience of working in a QC environment or handling chemicals.

Working Hours:
• Monday – Friday
