About Dimensions
At Dimensions, every day is a chance to make a real difference. Guided by courage and ambition, we promise you purpose in your work, pride in your impact, and support to grow. Together, we'll create lives filled with joy, independence, and unforgettable experiences.
Because when every day matters, the work we do truly changes lives.
About the role
- Support Worker
- Full time (37.5 hours) or Part time hours considered.
- Hounslow, London, TW3
- £13.85 per hour.
You'll be joining a supporting living home in Hounslow, supporting seven adults aged between 20 and 55, all of whom have complex health needs. The home is easily accessible via the Piccadilly Line, with Hounslow East, Hounslow Central and Hounslow West stations nearby.
This is an active, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll support people to enjoy the things they love, whether that's music therapy, swimming, cinema trips, day outings, shopping, library visits, or spending time socialising in the community. The home is proud of its fun, uplifting atmosphere, and you will play a key part in keeping it a happy place to live.
Your day may include helping people get ready, supporting with full personal care and using hoists or slings where needed. You will assist two people who use wheelchairs, support one lady with PEG feeding, prepare meals including pureed food, and contribute to household tasks including cooking, cleaning, and laundry. You'll also encourage people to be active, engaged, and confident in trying new things.
Shift patterns include 7am-2:30pm, 2pm-9:30pm and occasional 7am-9:30pm long days, with alternate weekends.
About you
We're not looking for previous experience; we're looking for people with the right values and a passion for helping others live fulfilling lives.
If you share our values of Ambition, Courage, Integrity, Partnership and Respect, enjoy building positive relationships, and bring patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence to your work, you will flourish in this role. You'll enjoy engaging with others, bringing energy and positivity, and helping create a lively, joyful home environment.
You will be someone who is attentive, respectful, and committed to supporting people in a way that promotes dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. You'll be willing to learn, grow and use the training we provide, including how to use hoists, slings, moulded chairs, PEG-feeding equipment and our award-winning Activate support model. Most importantly, you will take pride in making a meaningful difference each day.
