Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Tilbury
Salary: Up to £37,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours.
Start Date: ASAP

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast‑paced Fulfilment Centre in the Tilbury, Essex area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in warehouse operations within a fulfilment and luxury brand environment.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and upholding safety compliance. You'll lead a diverse team, drive performance, and support continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse team leaders and operational staff.
  • Oversee order fulfilment to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely dispatch.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety standards.
  • Supervise and coach team members to support performance and skill development.
  • Manage site security and ensure all procedures are correctly followed.
  • Conduct daily team briefings to allocate tasks, share updates, and communicate workload.
  • Attend regular meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate KPIs to identify areas for improvement and operational efficiency.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years' management experience within a fulfilment warehouse environment (required).
  • Strong background in logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Excel, Word, Windows, and WMS systems.
  • Highly organised with exceptional time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations and fast-paced environments.
  • Previous experience promoting Health & Safety best practice.
  • Skilled at building professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers on day-to-day activity.
  • Comfortable working with colleagues from a range of backgrounds and age groups.
  • Good level of English; a second language is advantageous.
  • Experience working with luxury fashion brands is necessary.
