Masterclass are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist SEN college in the Billingshurst area. This is a full-time role supporting young people with a range of special educational needs, helping them to develop their communication skills and reach their full potential.
The Role:
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs. You will play a key role in supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional development within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and develop therapy programmes for students with SEN
• Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy sessions
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals
• Contribute to EHCP targets and progress reviews
• Support students with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional standards
• Promote inclusive practice across the college environment
The Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered or eligible)
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)
• Knowledge of ASD, ADHD, speech and language delay, and complex needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, compassionate, and adaptable
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
