CNC Router Machinist and Fabrication Operative.
Our Company is in search of a CNC router Machinist with a good knowledge off plastic and wood fabrication and also with a good knowledge of general workshop tools such as hand routers, wall saws and table saws.
You will be responsible for running one of our 5 CNC machines and hand finishing parts to a high standard .
• You will be required to set up the CNC machine to perform various different jobs.
• You will be able to interpret technical drawings and there requirements into finished products.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary changes to improve the final result.
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
• Record machining actions by completing production and quality logs
• Communicate any issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
• Ensure that results of machining process align with the clients expectations.
• Conduct regular maintenance on all machines .
• Inspect tools for sharpness and usability.
• Contribute towards the efficient running of the team.
The ideal Candidate will have
• Experience in operating a Router CNC
• Ability to use general workshop tools
• Ability to read technical drawings
• An attention to detail
• Good communication skills
