Fawkes & Reece are working with a well-established building services contractor who are looking to appoint a Static A/C Engineer on a long-term contract based at a university site in Central London.

This is a permanent, site-based role suited to an experienced engineer who prefers the stability of a single location and a professional working environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of air conditioning and associated HVAC plant on site. Duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance

  • Attending reactive breakdowns and fault finding

  • Servicing VRV/VRF systems, splits, AHUs and FCUs

  • Completing paperwork and compliance documentation

  • Liaising with site management and client representatives

The site is well run, and the contract offers consistency and long-term security.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)

  • F-Gas Category 1 (essential)

  • Experience within commercial building maintenance

  • Confident fault-finding ability

  • Professional and client-facing manner

Package

  • £48,000 - £50,000 basic salary

  • Vitality private healthcare

  • Up to 2% bonus paid every 6 months
