Are you a dedicated gardener with a passion for horticulture? Do you love working outdoors and taking pride in your craft? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you on a stunning private estate near Tarporley!



Position: Gardener

Location: Tarporley, Chester, UK

Salary: £25,500 per annum

Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm) - plus one weekend a year for our special National Garden Scheme Open Day in May or June.



**What Were Looking For:**

We are seeking an enthusiastic gardener/estate worker to join our small, friendly team. You will play a key role in maintaining the beauty of our estate, working closely with the Head Gardener and the estate owner. Your contributions will be critical in keeping our lawns, hedges, and woodlands looking pristine.



**Your Responsibilities Will Include:**-

Expert lawn care, including cutting, scarification, and seasonal treatments.-
Maintaining our picturesque hedges and pristine woodland areas.-
Operating a variety of machinery, such as hand mowers, ride-on mowers, strimmers, and tractors.-
Assisting with diverse tasks like weeding, pruning, leaf clearing, and vegetable growing.-
Contributing to the overall maintenance of the estate, ensuring everything thrives.

Requirements:

We invite trustworthy and committed individuals who can work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is essential, and while training in health and safety, chainsaw operation, spray handling, and ATV/tractor operation is desirable, it isnt mandatory.
