Luma Education Recruitment is looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Leicester secondary school. Work with KS3–KS4 pupils, including those with SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, and make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Do
• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Implement behaviour strategies (PRICE/TeamTeach experience desirable)
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
• School or youth work experience
• Confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs
• Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
• DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)
• PRICE or TeamTeach training (ideal)
