The Priory Academy LSST, one of the UK’s top performing state schools, is looking for a Site Assistant to join our exceptional staff body. We are seeking to appoint a Site Assistant to join our busy team at the academy to assist in the day-to-day maintenance of a large academy site.
We are a small Site team who take pride in efficiently supporting the day to day running, safety and maintenance of a bustling academy site with numerous buildings, facilities and vehicles. We provide support through a range of tasks such as testing of equipment and alarms, general maintenance and repairs, unlocking and securing buildings, supervising contractors and visitors, porterage etc.
The successful applicant will have key holder responsibilities and will be expected to attend out of hours call outs. Some elements of weekend work may be required to open and secure the site after external bookings. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical or DIY skills and a clean driver’s licence are desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Our scale allows both flexibility and creativity in terms of career development, with permanent and secondment opportunities across our academies allowing exciting career pathways.
