Glazier – Temp to Perm (13 Weeks)Location: ElyPay: £13.00 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pmWorkchain is currently recruiting for a hands-on, detail-focused Glazier to join a busy production team in Ely on a temp-to-perm basis (permanent after 13 weeks).You will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and fitting glass into timber-based internal door sets to meet customer specifications, ensuring high-quality finishes at all times.Key Duties:Cutting and preparing glass (etching, taping, fitting gaskets)Assembling VP beading and glazing doors to a high standardReading and following production instructionsMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentSupporting the wider production team when requiredOvertime available during busy periodsWhat we’re looking for:Experience with hand tools and manual handlingGood attention to detail and time managementTeam player with a strong work ethicForklift or CAD reading skills (desirable but not essential)This is a great opportunity to secure a permanent position after 13 weeks.If you are interested, please apply and we will be in contact.
