A supportive and well-organised Primary School in Acton is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from April. The role will be based within KS1, currently Year 2, and offers strong team support and clear expectations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced KS1 teacher or a confident ECT ready to step into a well-structured classroom environment.
Teaching within Key Stage 1
Planning and delivering engaging, well-sequenced lessons
Supporting pupils' literacy, phonics and early numeracy development
Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom culture
Monitoring progress and contributing to end-of-year assessment
Working closely with KS1 colleagues and senior leaders
Experienced KS1 teachers
Year 1 or Year 2 practitioners
Strong ECTs with relevant EYFS or KS1 background
Teachers committed to inclusion and high standards
Practitioners who thrive in collaborative environments
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Strong understanding of phonics and KS1 assessment
Positive behaviour management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
