Special Needs Teaching Assistants - Twickenham Join a growing school where team culture, collaboration, and belonging come first
ASAP or with notice - Expanding team, multiple vacancies available
A new SEN school in Twickenham is expanding, and this is a rare chance to join a team at the very beginning. The school is small, welcoming, and built on the belief that a positive staff culture is the foundation of everything. As the school grows, so does the opportunity to help shape its identity, values, and working environment from the ground up.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a close-knit, supportive team where every voice matters and where you can genuinely influence the culture of a developing school.
The current team is warm, diverse, and genuinely collaborative-people of different ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience who all share the same commitment to supporting young people. New staff are welcomed in, supported from day one, and encouraged to bring their own strengths, ideas, and personality to the role.
Unlike larger, long-established schools where systems are fixed and change is slow, this setting offers the chance to help build something meaningful. You'll be part of shaping routines, contributing to a positive workplace culture, and helping create an environment where both pupils and staff thrive.
The school supports pupils aged 7-16 with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With small class sizes of 4-6 pupils, the focus is on personalised support, strong relationships, and a calm, structured environment.
As the school expands, they are looking for enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistants who want to grow with the team and contribute to a supportive, inclusive culture.
