Our client, a prestigious secondary school located in Arnold, Nottinghamshire, is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the educational journey of our students, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and guidance.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential classroom support across a range of subjects, collaborating closely with our experienced teaching staff. Your primary duties will include assisting with lesson preparation, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting individual students who require additional help or guidance.

In this position, you will be employed on a full-time basis, with a competitive daily rate of £89 to £100, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. - Provide classroom support and assistance to teachers, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Deliver targeted interventions and one-on-one support to students who require additional help or guidance
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons, adapt materials, and create engaging learning activities
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as needed
- Assist with the supervision of students during breaks, extracurricular activities, and school events
- Contribute to the overall development and implementation of the school's educational strategies and initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress, attendance, and behaviour
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within the education sector
- Strong understanding of the UK education system and the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/guardians
- Proficiency in using various educational technologies and digital tools to support student learning
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary
- Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to respond effectively to changing needs and priorities
- Passion for education and a genuine commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of students
- Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undertake further training and development
