Take a look to learn more about the role and what we are offering The post holder will deliver high-quality safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence, which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct. The role includes leading the delivery of patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care in a collaborative way. The post holder will co-ordinate care that includes assessment and monitoring of physical health, supervising junior staff and students, working collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team and maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment. The post holder will support a culture of safety, where staff are engaged on health and safety issues. The post holder will: Be an accountable professional, acting in the best interests of people, acting professionally and using their knowledge and skills to make evidence-based decisions. Promote health and the prevention of ill health. Prioritise the needs of people when assessing and reviewing their mental, physical, cognitive, social and spiritual needs. Provide evidence-based, compassionate and safe nursing interventions. Be a leader, acting as a role model for best practice and managing nursing care, delegating to and supervising others. Improve safety and quality of care, assessing risk to safety or experience and take appropriate action to manage.
