Hours of work: 35 hours per week split over 7 days. This can include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

Established in 1885, Millwall Football Club is one of the most famous football clubs in England. Currently competing in the EFL Championship, they play their home games at The Den, which is based in South Bermondsey, and has been the home of the Club since 1994
Role Overview:
Reporting to Kit & Equipment Manager, this role will be responsible for kit and equipment needs for the Academy, ensuring players and staff are fully prepared for training and match days. Supporting in the organisation, distribution, and inventory of kit and equipment, supporting the smooth daily operations of the Academy. Following the Academy’s Fixtures and Training Schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Kit & Equipment Management
Prepare, distribute, and collect all training and matchday kit for Academy teams (U8–U18)
Ensure all kit is correctly sorted, labelled, and allocated for each squad and staff member
Maintain stock of playing kit, training wear, footwear, and equipment.
Oversee laundry processes, including washing, drying, and storage of kit to club standards
Manage matchday kit for U18 home and away fixtures, including transportation and setup
Facilities & Training Support
Ensure training and match equipment is kept in good condition and report damage or shortages
Prepare the U18’s dressing rooms for training and matches
Logistics & Administration
Keep accurate inventory records of all kit and equipment
Liaise with kit suppliers regarding new orders, replacements, and deliveries
Support staff with sizing, distribution, and collection for new-season issue
Maintain compliance with club branding and sponsorship guidelines
Matchday Duties
Pack, travel with, and unload U18’s kit and equipment for away fixtures
Set up U18’s changing rooms
Assist U18’s coaching and medical staff with equipment needs before, during, and after matches
Safeguarding Responsibilities
Promote and uphold the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people at all times
Complete required safeguarding training prior to working with Academy players
Report any safeguarding concerns following club policy
Essential Requirements:
Good understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies
Must exhibit a professional, well-organised approach with strong attention to detail
Full driving licence and access to a car
DBS check to be completed before appointment and every 3 years
Can do attitude / Team player / Flexible on hours
