Calling all passionate, hardworking and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners!

A diverse and friendly nursery in Wandsworth is currently looking for an Early Years Practitioner to start ASAP. This is a great opportunity to work with a lovely team of likeminded individuals who are dedicated to early childhood education and development, and is a rewarding role working and playing alongside children in early years!

This is a permanent position, offering stability, and located in Wandsworth (SW London), this nursery is easy to get to thanks to the great transport links.

As an Early Years Practitioner, some of your key responsibilities include: 

• Supporting children with their personal, social and emotional development
• Helping children to build on their social skills and develop positive relationships from a young age
• Assisting children with the development of early reading and literacy, and early maths skills development
• Following the EYFS curriculum closely to plan stimulating activities and lessons
• Observing and assessing key children's progress
• Encouraging development through interactive play, exploration and learning
• Providing a supportive environment that allows every child to explore, discover and grow at their own pace

You should have excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early child development practices, and have confidence to plan creative lessons, great communication skills (verbal and written) and a real passion and motivation for working with children under 5.

A relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification (above Level 2) is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Early Years Practitioner position.
