Contract: Full Time , Part- Time, Bank Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days & Nights Available Contracted hours: Full Time, Part Time , BankThe Manor House Care Home is a large, purpose built service providing tailored care for up to 125 residents across several specialist divisions. Within our 40 bed General Nursing Unit, we deliver 24 hour nursing care for adults with complex physical health needs in a safe and supportive nursing environment.
Care Assistant – General Nursing Unit
- £12.21 per hour
- Full time and part time contracts available
- Day shift and night shift available
- 12 hour shifts 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am
- 1 hour break, 30 minutes paid
- Pension scheme, Paid DBS, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
The Role
As a Care Assistant within our General Nursing Unit, you will provide high quality, person centred care to residents with complex physical needs. You will support with personal care, mobility, moving and handling, and daily living activities, including assisting with meals and hydration safely and with dignity.
Working closely with Nurses, you will follow care plans accurately, maintain infection control standards and report any changes in wellbeing promptly. Your role will help ensure residents feel safe, respected and supported to live fulfilling lives.
We welcome both experienced Care Assistants and those new to care. If you are reliable, compassionate and willing to learn, full training and ongoing support will be provided.
