Job Title: Support Worker (Nights)
Location: The Mountains Nursing Home, LD3 8EN
Job Type: Permanent (Part-Time)
Hours: 24 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00pm – 8:00am (2 nights per week, including every other weekend)
Salary: £12.60
About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dependable Support Worker to join our night team at The Mountains Nursing Home on a permanent part-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent night shifts while making a meaningful difference to residents’ lives by providing high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting residents with personal care and wellbeing needs
Promoting dignity, independence, and comfort during night hours
Carrying out regular checks and responding to call bells
Maintaining accurate documentation and handovers
Supporting a calm, safe and respectful environment overnight
Following safeguarding and care standards at all times
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have a compassionate and caring nature
Be reliable and able to work independently at night
Work well as part of a team
Be available to work every other weekend as part of the rota
Previous care experience is desirable
