Job Title: Support Worker (Nights)
Location: The Mountains Nursing Home, LD3 8EN
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 20:00pm – 8:00am (4 nights per week, rota basis including weekends)
Salary: £12.60 an hour
About the Role
The Mountains Nursing Home is looking to recruit a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our night team on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
Providing person-centred care and support to residents
Assisting with personal care where required
Supporting residents with mobility and wellbeing needs
Monitoring residents throughout the night and responding to call bells
Maintaining accurate care records
Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety and infection control procedures are followed at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is caring, patient, and reliable
Has good communication and teamwork skills
Is committed to delivering high-quality care
Is able to work night shifts on a rota basis, including weekends
Previous care or support experience is desirable (full training provided)
