This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who would like to work as part of a national team and to directly contribute to measuring and monitoring the performance of our fleet.
You will work within a busy team that forms part of the Defra Group Fleet Services (DGFS) Fleet Hub, performing administrative and financial activities for both Environment Agency and Defra fleets, with a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners.
The day to day work will vary, focusing on customer service and processes such as paying invoices, checking V5 log books received from the DVLA , managing purchase orders to updating our fleet management system and resolving data quality issues.
You will be expected to work with colleagues across the organisation and with external partners, so the ability to build and maintain a working network of contacts is essential and requires excellent communication and influencing skills.
Incident response is a key part of the role. You will hold an incident position and be available to support incident response or business continuity. This may attract additional payments, with full training and workplace adjustments provided.
