About the Role
Are you passionate about education and ready to make a real impact every single day? At Meadowcroft School, we’re looking for a dynamic, confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team and help create an engaging, supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality learning when teachers are absent. You’ll lead whole classes, keep students motivated and focused, and ensure learning continues seamlessly. This is more than classroom supervision — it’s an opportunity to inspire progress, build confidence, and support meaningful educational outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver engaging lessons in line with Teacher Standards, ensuring learning continues effectively in the absence of teaching staff
Support high-quality teaching and learning by helping meet the diverse needs of all students, including the most able
Contribute to literacy and numeracy interventions and support students to improve progress and outcomes
Promote independent learning, confidence and positive engagement in the classroom
Help foster a safe, inclusive and respectful environment that encourages excellent behaviour and personal development
Support the school’s ethos, values and curriculum while contributing to ongoing school improvement
Build positive relationships with students, staff and families, working collaboratively within the school community
