Medical Receptionist 37 hours per week The Glyndon Medical centre is a long established 7500 patient NHS GP Practice within the borough of Greenwich An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time medical receptionist to join our friendly practice team. The position is for 37 hours over 5 days 8am to 3.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 8am to 3pm on Wednesday. The successful applicant will at times be expected to work over two sites to cover staff sickness and annual leave. Please apply only if you are able to work these hours. You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and supporting health professional teams. You will need to have the skills to resolve and manage issues that arise and be able to prioritise your workload, be flexible for the needs of the business and work within a team setting and able to consider business constraints and service user needs. You will also need to have a consistent and compassionate approach with our service users at all times. Liaising with patients and colleagues is a key part of the role, therefore you must have an excellent telephone manner and great communication skills. Good IT skills and experience are essential.
