A high-achieving Leeds secondary school is recruiting a Teacher of Science to join permanently from Easter or September 2026 on the Main Pay Scale.

The Science department achieved outstanding results in 2025:

  • 85% Grade 4+
  • 41% Grade 7–9
  • Progress 8 Science score: +0.71
  • 100% Triple Science entry for top sets

    The department consists of 6 teachers, including a Head of Science, Key Stage Leads and a Science Coordinator. Planning is collaboratively designed with clear schemes of work, shared assessments and structured retrieval practice embedded across KS3 and KS4.
