KPI Education are partnering with an outstanding, high-achieving secondary school in Brent to appoint an ambitious and academically strong Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their support team.
This is not a general classroom assistant role — the school is specifically seeking graduates with strong academic backgrounds who can add real value to teaching and learning.

Staff development is central to the school’s ethos, with many Graduate Teaching Assistants successfully progressing into salaried teacher training programmes.
You will be joining a department that values intellectual curiosity, academic rigour and high expectations for all pupils.
The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils across KS3–KS5 within your subject specialism
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group academic interventions
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons
• Support high-attaining pupils aiming for top universities
• Provide structured support to pupils requiring additional academic guidance
• Gain exposure to behaviour management strategies and classroom leadership
This role is ideal preparation for a future PGCE, Schools Direct or salaried teacher training pathway.
Who We’re Looking For
• A 2:1 or First-Class degree from a Russell Group or Top 30 university (essential)
• Strong A-Level and GCSE results
• A clear interest in pursuing a career in education
• Confident communication skills and professional presence
• A proactive, resilient and reflective mindset
• Previous tutoring, mentoring or school-based experience desirable but not essential
Graduates in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL and Psychology are particularly encouraged to apply.
