SeniorAdministrationCo-ordinator will provide receptionist support to the trusts Emergency Department ensuring provision of an excellent ‘front of house’ service.
The role will involve supporting the reception services manager in the day to day running of the reception services team. A key part to this role will be to ensure an excellent level of customer service and attention to detail is delivered throughout the team.

• Contribute to the effective running of the reception services team, supervising all administration staff on shift and liaising with both the medical and nursing teams.
• Support the administrative support services manager with the training and development of any new staff and all duties in relation to leading and managing the team
• Ensure the smooth running of the office/reception through maintaining office systems including the development and maintenance of paper and electronic filing systems to ensure safe transfer and storage of information
• Management of the admin staff in the UTC/ED, ensuring a well-trained and highly motivated workforce
• Support the maintenance of consistently high levels of quality, safety and performance across the organisation to deliver clinical excellence and high patient satisfaction
• To respond to telephone enquiries often of a confidential nature for the services, from all staff groups, patient’s, relatives and careers providing information, prioritising queries as appropriate in a prompt and pro-active manner.
