Health & Safety and Compliance Manager
Full time, all year round
We are seeking an experienced and proactive School Health & Safety and Compliance Manager to lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and statutory compliance at Clayesmore School.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations (Clayesmore) and the Inspired Learning Group (ILG) Health and Safety Manager (Head Office), the postholder will be the School’s subject-matter expert for health, safety, and compliance. They will ensure the School provides a safe, compliant, and positive working and learning environment for staff, pupils, visitors, and contractors, while meeting all legal and regulatory obligations.
Working closely with senior leaders, estates colleagues, and head office, they will develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve health and safety systems and procedures. The postholder will also provide assurance to senior leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders through audits, inspections, and clear, robust reporting.
In addition to the Clayesmore-based responsibilities, the role includes supporting health and safety compliance across schools in the South Area in conjunction with the ILG Health and Safety Manager.
