Crynodeb
The Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHPs) is a member of the Board of Directors, sharing corporate responsibility for the strategic direction of the Trust and delivery of the Trust vision and objectives. The post-holder will be an ambassador role model for NMAHPs ensuring that professional contributions of nurses, midwives and allied health professionals (AHPs) enable the Trust to meet business and strategic goals in accordance with professional standards. The Executive Director will lead the Safeguarding of Children and Adult services across the Trust and work with external partners to improve care. As the most senior lead for the NMAHP agenda, the post holder will provide assurance to the Board of Directors that NMAHP standards reviewed on an ongoing basis to meet the demands of patients. The Executive Director is the lead for Risk Management, nominated individual for CQC, Professional Lead for Maternity and has joint responsibility, with the Executive Medical Director for Clinical Governance.
