Are you currently working as an OT Assistant or OT Technician, or someone with the right skills and a real passion for mental health? Would you like the opportunity to join an innovative Occupational Therapy service?
We’re looking to recruit anOccupational Therapy Technicianto join the Bedford Community Mental Health Team.
In this role, you will support Occupational Therapists by assisting with assessments and delivering interventions for adults experiencing mental health difficulties. You will provide specialist Occupational Therapy interventions under the guidance and supervision of the OT team, while also working independently on a day-to-day basis across a range of community settings.
CAR DRIVER AND UK LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL
The post holder will join a well-established, supportive multi-disciplinary team. Interventions will involve working collaboratively with service users and their carers to achieve agreed goals aimed at improving functional abilities across a range of daily activities, including self-care, work-related tasks, domestic activities, and leisure. The post holder must be able to travel independently across the county. A good understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy is preferred but not essential
