Crynodeb
We are looking for an additional person to join Ian’s care team. Flexible schedule on four days on four days off plus availability for holiday cover, short notice sickness cover etc. Experience with stroke survivor rehabilitation and catheter care is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided. Ian prefers male carers and can be tricky he doesn’t suffer fools, so a confident person with a good sense of humour is essential, a shared interest in cricket and football would be very useful. A willingness to encourage him to mobilise and facilitate as much independence as possible is very important. Ian has expressive aphasia so patience is key to encouraging him to find correct language. Working in our home you will be part of a small team.
