Job Details

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools or Nurseries? We have casual cleaner vacancies to join our teams in Levenmouth and the surrounding area.

Casual staff can be asked to work any day of the week covering for annual leave and absence as required however hours will mainly be between 3pm – 8pm, Monday to Friday.

Casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked.

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

Pay is every 4 weeks.

Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

This work is about ensuring buildings are left in a clean and safe standard. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.

No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate

The Person

No Previous experience is required as full training is given.

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
