A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Plymouth is seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their supportive team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils in Years 3-6, helping them develop strong academic foundations, resilience, and a love of learning during this important stage of their education.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Support pupils' academic progress in English, Maths, and foundation subjects
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
You'll have the opportunity to bring creativity and energy into the classroom while being supported by a collaborative leadership team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Is confident in classroom management
- Is organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic
- Is committed to continuous professional development
ECTs with strong KS2 placement experience are also encouraged to apply.
