Location: Lambeth and surrounding areas
Salary: £100 - £115 per day (dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-time, 8.30am until 3.45pm
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants and graduates to support mainstream primary schools across Lambeth and the surrounding areas. This opportunity is ideal for qualified Level 3 TAs as well as graduates with degrees in Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Education, or other transferable subjects relevant to an educational setting.
Whether you are an experienced Level 3 TA looking for your next role, or a graduate seeking valuable classroom experience ahead of teacher training or a PGCE with QTS, this position offers excellent hands-on experience within supportive school environments.
This is a rewarding yet sometimes challenging role where you will support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally. Previous experience working with children is desirable; however, full training, ongoing support, and CPD opportunities will be provided.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or a relevant UK degree
- Proactive and able to use initiative in a school environment
- Attentive, observant, and responsive to pupils' needs
- Caring, patient, and compassionate
- Confident in supporting behaviour management
Job Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or UK degree in a relevant or transferable subject
- Level 2 English (spoken and written)
- Fluent English is essential
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Must have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check
