We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and versatile experienced Teaching Assistant to work in our school.

We are looking for someone with a caring and nurturing approach for our lovely village school. Everything we do is focused on giving every child the best start in life. We provide an excellent learning environment where everyone is valued and encouraged to achieve their very best.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

• will work closely with our teaching staff to create exciting opportunities for learning so that all of our pupils can be successful, confident and caring.
• is an excellent practitioner and has high expectations of the children in terms of behaviour and learning
• is a good team player and can also work on own initiative
• has the determination to make school life a positive, rewarding and enjoyable experience for everyone
• can support individual children and groups of children with their learning through structured interventions or classroom support including pupils with SEND
• is a creative, reflective practitioner who is adept at identifying misconceptions and other barriers to learning, including those related to personal and social development, and working to overcome these
• is flexible with days/hours and would be able to work additional hours if needed
• would want to enter fully into the wider life of our village school
• ideally has experience of working in EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• has strong curriculum knowledge, particularly in English and Maths
