Do you have the vision, expertise and drive to lead whole-school pastoral practice and empower others to achieve excellence?
The Orchards Federation is seeking an exceptional Lead Practitioner (Behaviour and Pastoral) to join our Leadership Team at Cherry Tree Primary School.
About the Role
This is a key strategic leadership position at the heart of our school. You will:
- Model outstanding practice in behaviour support and pastoral care
- Lead and develop a team of pastoral specialists
- Coach, mentor and train staff to ensure consistently high standards
- Champion inclusive, evidence-informed approaches to behaviour and SEND
With a 0.7 teaching commitment, you will remain firmly rooted in classroom practice while shaping whole-school systems and culture.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has at least five years’ successful mainstream primary teaching experience
- Demonstrates strong leadership with integrity and empathy
- Understands evidence-based strategies for supporting pupils with autism and ADHD
- Can analyse data to drive improvement and hold others to account
- Can lead high quality CPD and support staff to embed agreed strategies
