About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administration Coordinator / Induction & Access Coordinator to join the Principal Contractor team delivering the London Tunnels Programme for High Speed 2.
This is a fast-paced, high-profile construction environment where you will play a critical role in managing inductions, workforce onboarding, and site access control. The position requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels—from new inductees and site operatives through to senior leadership and directors.
Key Responsibilities
Induction & Onboarding
• Deliver daily Induction Meet & Greet sessions.
• Conduct housekeeping briefings and introduction presentations in the Welcome Centre Theatre.
• Complete HSPS Portal and Biosite registrations.
• Carry out PPAC ID checks and verify Right to Work documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate Drug & Alcohol (D&A) testing processes and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies (e.g., unexpected attendees, documentation issues).
• Provide a professional, welcoming experience while ensuring strict compliance standards.
Access & Workforce Administration
• Run and review daily Biosite reports for operative profile and compliance checks.
• Manage “Due to Expire” qualifications and competency reports, proactively chasing updates (e.g., CITB, EUSR, CPCS).
• Monitor and action Right to Work expiry reports.
• Process Emergency, Temporary, Vendor, Visitor, and Fitter access requests.
• Maintain and manage a shared Induction & Access Inbox with accountability and timely responses.
• Liaise with site Security to resolve access control issues and communicate outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Ensure all access and onboarding tasks are completed accurately and within strict timeframes to avoid disruption to site operations.

Experience Required
• Experience using Biosite or similar workforce management systems.
• Background in a busy onboarding/induction environment within construction and/or rail.
• Knowledge of competency management schemes (e.g., CITB, EUSR, CPCS).
• Understanding of Data Protection and GDPR compliance.
• Experience coordinating site access processes and resolving access issues.
