We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a high-performing finance team within a multi-entity group environment.
As a Group Financial Reporting Manager you will take ownership of group consolidation, statutory accounts and financial reporting under UK GAAP, ensuring robust compliance and governance across the organisation.
The Group Financial Reporting Manager will work closely with divisional finance teams, supporting audit processes, technical accounting matters including FRS102 updates, and driving continuous improvement in financial controls, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Group Financial Reporting Manager include:
• Group Consolidation: Support annual group consolidation including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
• Statutory Accounts Preparation: Assist in preparing audited group statutory accounts under UK GAAP
• Audit Coordination: Act as key contact between Group, Divisional Finance teams and external auditors during year-end audit
• Technical Accounting Oversight: Monitor and implement changes to accounting standards including FRS102 updates
• Policy & Controls Development: Develop and enforce group accounting policies and strengthen financial controls and governance
• Intercompany Management: Manage monthly intercompany balances matrix and trading eliminations
• Reconciliations Review: Review bank and payroll reconciliations across central and divisional teams
• VAT Compliance: Manage UK and EU VAT submissions in collaboration with divisional finance teams
• Holdco Accounting Support: Assist with holding company accounting, budgeting and forecasting
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior management, finance teams and external advisers
• Team Mentoring: Provide guidance and technical support to subsidiary finance teams
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in group accounting and consolidation within a multi-entity environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
• Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and supporting audits
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting
• Strong Excel skills and experience with consolidation and ERP systems
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
DESIRABLE
• Experience within a £50m to £250m turnover group environment
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, post-acquisition integrations or restructuring
• Previous experience in a fast-growing or private equity-backed business
• Knowledge of financial reporting systems such as Access Dimensions or similar
