We are seeking an experienced and highly reliable Electrical Engineer to deliver world-class building maintenance services across a regional portfolio of client properties.​

This role is central to ensuring consistent, high-quality service for stakeholders while upholding statutory compliance and safety standards.

Job Description

You will carry out electrical and building services maintenance, including fault finding, repairs, installations, and PPM activities across a multi-site estate.​

Working independently across up to 35 sites, you will represent the company professionally and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction at every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance tasks within required SLA and compliance timeframes.

Carry out additional building services tasks including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and general FM duties.

Provide callout response in line with the regional callout rota.

Conduct contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.

Ensure all electrical equipment operates to required performance and safety standards.

Maintain equipment and surrounding areas to agreed company standards.

Evaluate equipment performance and ensure servicing requirements under contract are met.

Foster proactive client communication, ensuring feedback and concerns are escalated appropriately.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

​Electrically qualified engineer with ability to travel across up to 35 sites within the region.

Facilities Management experience preferred but open to strong electrical engineers looking to transition into FM.

Skilled in planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multi-site environments.

Strong awareness of statutory compliance, safety regulations and service-level expectations.

Able to work independently while maintaining communication with FM teams and site stakeholders.

Flexible, reliable, and confident in managing travel, prioritising workload and adapting to varied site needs.

Customer-focused with commitment to high-quality service delivery in government-occupied buildings.

Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
