About You
As our new Payroll and Accounts Payable Accountant, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of the accounts payable section and our payroll functions. You will have experience in working in a finance account department or similar environment.
You’re a natural communicator who enjoys building meaningful relationships with internal employees and our supplier. You will develop fantastic and sustainable relationships with our coders and budget holders to ensure an efficient and accurate service is provided to our suppliers. You will be able to respond to queries as they arise and work pro-actively to resolve issues within a timely manner.
You’re a self-starter with the ability to plan and manage your own workload to deliver on differing prioritise. Accuracy in work is a vital component for this role, calculating and recording all payroll costs and ensuring colleagues are paid correctly.
Our ideal candidate has a wealth of knowledge of a range of finances process, the sector and regulatory requirements. You will also be skilled at using Excel to manipulate data and upload into finance systems.
