The General Practitioner (GP) will providehigh quality, patient centered, evidence based medical careto registered patients within a primary care setting. Delivering comprehensive general medical services while showing confidence, competence, and leadership skills in line withGMC standards, NHS values, and professional best practice. The GP will: Deliversafe, effective, and compassionate care Work within the scope of General Practice and NHS regulations Practice reflective, evidence based medicine Uphold patient confidentiality, dignity, and safeguarding Contribute positively to team working and service improvement Clinical Responsibilities Provideface to face and telephone consultations Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Manage undifferentiated illness across all age groups Provide patient centered care, involving patients in shared decision making Deliver continuity of care where possible Long Term Condition Management Manage patients with chronic diseases such as: Diabetes Asthma and COPD Cardiovascular disease Mental health conditions Musculoskeletal conditions Undertake structured medication reviews Support personalised care planning Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical records Complete referrals, reports, and correspondence efficiently Participate in clinical coding and data quality improvement Adhere to practice protocols and pathways Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
