We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join the Urology Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team in a pivotal support role across the cancer pathway. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality, patient-centred care within a dynamic multidisciplinary team. The post holder will support patients throughout their cancer journey by coordinating care, undertaking clinical support activities, and ensuring timely communication across services. The role requires an organised, proactive individual who is confident working independently and under supervision, and who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation, delivery, and evaluation of patient care within the multidisciplinary team. Undertake ward reviews and assist in the coordination of outpatient appointments. Conduct post-operative telephone follow-ups and appropriately triage clinical queries. Ensure effective communication and seamless care coordination across the cancer pathway. Lead and supervise a team of Clinical Support Workers and Apprentice Clinical Support Workers. Maintain a safe, effective clinical environment that promotes high standards of patient care. Act on own initiative within defined competency boundaries to achieve planned outcomes. Practice in accordance with Trust policies, guidelines, professional standards, and statutory requirements. Work flexibly across ward, clinical department, or community settings as required. Comply with PPE requirements appropriate to the clinical setting, including prolonged use of face masks where necessary. Stock ordering and stock taking
